Paul Dukas (1865-1935) was a French composer. The Sorcerer's Apprentice (L'Apprenti Sorcier) - composed in 1897 - is based on Goethe's poem 'Der Zauberlehrling' and was used in the Walt Disney cartoon Fantasia.
